Here at Shiloh church of Christ we are a close-knit group of Christians whose primary goal is to worship, obey, and praise God. God has described how He wants His church to function.
• We are to worship on the first day of the week (Acts 20:7).
• Worship to God must be in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
• The reason for the gathering is to remember our Lord’s death through partaking of the Lor
d’s Supper (Acts 20:7), which we do every Sunday.
• We are to pray (Philippians 4:6).
• On the first day of the week we give as we have prospered
(2 Corinthians 9:6-8).
• We also sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs without the use
of mechanical instruments (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16).
• We give attention to the word of God and it is the sole source of our teaching
(1 Timothy 4:13; 2 Timothy 4:1-4). We hope and pray that you will come and worship with us as we seek the truth and strive to follow the New Testament pattern of a Christian. Our goal is to live in such a way that our eternal home will be in Heaven and we hope that you will strive with us to that end.
