We had a very interesting speaker this morning. Not only did we learn WWII history and Israeli history, but we learned a little about Neve as our speaker grew up at Neve. We learned about Mickey Marcus, an American who was a general or aluf in the IDF. Thank you, Steve Ossad, for a wonderful presentation and a great learning experience.

Thank you to everyone who donated blood at Neve Shalom’s blood drive on Sunday. We collected 48 pints, breaking our previous record. That equates to 144 lives saved. Our next blood drive is on 2/1/26. Donate, save lives and feel good about doing a good deed.

Welcome to the 2025-2026 Neve Shalom Hayat speaker series, part of our Lifelong Learning program. We were privileged to have our own Rabbi Schoenberg as our first speaker teaching us about crypto Jews of Portugal; a piece of history that many of us did not know. It was wonderful seeing Rabbi Schoenberg and his wife Rabbi Felix at Neve Shalom again.
