The Metter Methodist Women's Fellowship ladies are heading into a busy fall and holiday season, and we have several wonderful opportunities ahead to fellowship together while being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community!
Our first service project will be Monday, October 26, when we will gather to prepare Baby Gift Bags for new babies and their families in our community. Through these simple gifts, we hope to share the love of Jesus while letting new mothers and families know that their church community cares for them.
Each Baby Gift Bag will include:
A baby blanket – Please choose a gender-neutral color that could be used for either a boy or girl.
A children’s Bible storybook – These can be found on Amazon, and you may also find inexpensive options at Dollar Tree or Ollie’s.
Church information and an invitation – We will include information about activities at Metter Methodist and an invitation for the family to join us.

Of course, you are welcome to purchase items wherever you prefer!
On October 26, we will gather to assemble the gifts, tie ribbons around the items, and place them in clear bags so the blankets and gifts can easily be seen. Please come help us pack the bags and enjoy a time of fellowship together!

November 6 – Men’s Fellowship Pork Chop Plates
Sign up to make pound cakes or macaroni and cheese.
November 16 – Fruit Baskets
Join us as we prepare fruit baskets to share with others.
December 14 – Socks & Candy Canes
We’ll close out the year with another special opportunity to share a little joy and love with our community.
We hope you will come and be a part of these projects. Whether you donate an item, prepare food, help assemble gifts, or simply come and lend a hand, there is a place for everyone to serve!
