We had the blessing to attend the Holy Liturgy at the Church of Saint Sava in Stockholm, together with many faithful who, through their faith, devotion, and unity, preserve the spiritual and national identity of our people in Sweden.

At the church, we were welcomed by Protopresbyter Dušan Raković along with the clergy, and the meeting with our compatriots made this liturgical gathering especially joyful and meaningful. Wherever our people may live, they remain connected by the same faith, tradition, and sense of belonging.

The Liturgy was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Sweden, Jelena Čukić Matić.

We visited the church during our stay in the Kingdom of Sweden as guests of the Swedish royal family, on the occasion of the golden jubilee of Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. For this very reason, this meeting with the Serbian Orthodox Church and our people in Sweden held special significance for us.

May the Lord protect our people and grant them unity, peace, and prosperity.

The Very Reverend Protopresbyter-Stavrophor Josiah Trenham, one of the most well-known Orthodox theologians in America, has arrived in Belgrade, the first stop on his pilgrimage, “In the Footsteps of Saint Nikolaj Velimirović.”
The revival of Orthodoxy, digital missionary work, the legacy of Saint Nikolaj, the miracle of the Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos in Belgrade, and love for the Church are among the topics discussed in the program “Afternoon with Natalija and Ana” on Radio Slovo Ljubve.
