Praise the Lord! Kevin is no longer being held captive! Amen, Lord! Soon he will be reunited with his family. Please keep praying for all of them and especially for Kevin. We praise, You, oh Father! — Marsh Corner community Church

We are grateful to confirm that our good friend and brother in Christ, Kevin Rideout, has been released after over nine months in captivity.

He was kidnapped from outside his home in Niamey, Niger on the 21st of October, 2025.

Kevin is in good health in the care of US officials.

He will soon be reunited with Krista, his children, and his extended family.

Krista and the rest of Kevin’s family are profoundly grateful for the prayers offered on their behalf by people around the world throughout his captivity, and in particular for the deep level of prayer and support offered by our SIM family.

We ask that you respect the privacy of the family while they reconnect after this time apart.

Please join us in giving thanks to the Lord for this incredibly good news!

Sunday is Family Day at Marsh! The Congregation AND VBS Families are all invited to participate all morning long!

Join us at 9:00 AM in the sanctuary for a few songs before everyone heads to age-appropriate classes. We have classes for all ages, from toddlers to adults. Pastor Jared will also lead an informal class in Room 104 at 9:00 AM for those who would like to meet the Pastor.

At 10:00 AM, we'll enjoy fellowship time in Room 104, followed by our 10:30 AM Worship Service. Together, we'll continue exploring Psalm 23 and Jesus, our Good Shepherd through music and a message designed for all ages.

We'll wrap up things up with lunch in Fellowship Hall after service.

You won't want to miss this exciting conclusion to our VBS weekend! It's also a great opportunity to invite a friend, neighbor, or coworker to join us as we learn more about Jesus, our Good Shepherd.
