Magnificat, a Ministry to Catholic women is a private association of the faithful within the Catholic Church under the jurisdiction of the local ordinary. Its purpose is to help Catholic women to open more and more to the Holy Spirit through a deeper commitment of their lives to Jesus as Lord and to impart the Holy Spirit to one another by their love, service and sharing the good news of salvation

. It thus provides opportunities which will foster a desire to grow in holiness. Magnificat ministers to those women in and out of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal whose faith in the person of Jesus Christ has allowed them to believe in the activity of God’s spirit in their lives. It also has great appeal to those women who may be struggling with faith or who have lost touch with the Church.

Magnificat Presents Some Women Episode 11 – Power of Praying Women

In this Episode, Maria Luque-Rautio joins Angela, Jackie and Pat as they discuss the Power of Prayer and of Praying Women. Maria is the Coordinator of the “Jesus is Lord!” Chapter of Magnificat in Miami, FL, and serves as the Regional Leadership Service Team member for Region #5. The Holy Spirit has equipped her with the passion to proclaim the Good News of Salvation, healing, joy and victory in the name of Jesus. She wants others to experience the unconditional love of our heavenly Father for them, as she did.
Who were the women that followed Jesus and his disciples? Why and how do we follow and serve Him today? In this SOME WOMEN podcast series, based on the Luke 8:1-3 reference to women who accompanied Jesus and His disciples, Magnificat® presents a lively panel discussion, with occasional guest panelists, on issues relevant to women today. Various topics such as growing in holiness, community, living a Holy Spirit lifestyle, Spiritual warfare, nurturing a prayer life, and more, will be considered in the light of Sacred Scripture and teachings of the Catholic Church. Join us as we pray, learn, and experience what God can do in our lives if we let Him!
