It isn’t often we have the opportunity to celebrate a 100 year life of a dear saint but today we had that joy! A life of joy because of Jesus. We sang hymns and prayed with her, loved on her, and of course there was cake! Happy 100th to our dear Mrs. Jane!

Maundy Thursday. What does it mean? Maundy comes from a Latin word from whose root we get our English word "mandate." It's called Maundy Thursday because on the night before His crucifixion, Jesus Christ gave His disciples a new mandate--a new commandment--to remember His sacrificial death through the eating of bread and drinking of wine. "This is my body broken for you." "This is my blood poured out for you." "Do this in remembrance of Me."
