What a beautiful turnout last night as we gathered in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament! Thank you to all who joined us for the Archdiocesan Holy Hour in preparation for the Sacred Heart Consecration. ✝️

The journey continues. As we prepare to enthrone the Sacred Heart of Jesus in our homes, we encourage you to pray the Novena in Preparation for the Enthronement of the Home each day for the next nine days. You can find the prayer card in the photos below.

Together, let us ask the Sacred Heart of Jesus to bless our families, strengthen our faith, and draw us ever closer to Him.

❤️ Sacred Heart Consecration Preparation – Week 8: For Those Distant from the Church ❤️

Many of us know someone, whether a family member, friend, neighbor, or loved one, who has drifted away from the practice of the faith. This week, we entrust them to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, asking that they may encounter His love, mercy, and invitation to come home.

“Sacred Heart of Jesus, draw all who have wandered from Your Church back to the warmth of Your love and the joy of belonging.”

We invite you to join us for the Archdiocesan Holy Hour on Thursday, June 4, from 6:00–7:00 PM in the church as we continue our preparation for this historic consecration.

Who will you be praying for this week?

Take a moment this week to pray for someone by name and entrust them to the loving Heart of Jesus.

What a joy for our Church and our parish community!

Tomorrow, we are blessed to welcome newly ordained Father Brett Barrios as he celebrates the 10:00 AM Mass at St. Clement. Join us as we give thanks to God for his priestly ordination and celebrate his First Mass of Thanksgiving.

A reception will follow in Vosbein Hall. We hope you’ll join us in congratulating Fr. Brett and praying for him as he begins his priestly ministry.

Join us June 15–19 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church for a fun and faith-filled week of Vacation Bible School! We are so excited to welcome our children, teens, and volunteers for an amazing week together. 🎉🙏

• Children must be 5 years old on or before the first day of the program to participate.
• All adult volunteers must be Safe Environment trained. Training opportunities will be offered in the Seton Room on:

◽️Thursday, June 4 at 6 PM
You only need to attend ONE of these sessions, not all three.
• High school students may earn service hours by volunteering throughout the week!

Join us in thanking Fr. Jody for the love, guidance, and faithful service he has shared with the St. Clement of Rome family throughout his time here. His presence, leadership, and care for our parish community have made a lasting impact on so many lives, and we are incredibly grateful for all he has done.

While we will certainly miss him at St. Clement, we are also excited for the blessings he will bring as he begins this next chapter as Pastor of St. Christopher Parish. Please keep Fr. Jody in your prayers during this transition!

Friendly reminder that the Archdiocesan Holy Hour in preparation for the Sacred Heart Consecration is just one week away! ❤️

Join us next Thursday, June 4 from 6:00–7:00 PM in the church for a Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration as parishes throughout the Archdiocese gather in prayer and preparation for this special consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Additionally, Most Reverend James F. Checchio recently released a new pastoral letter to the Archdiocese reflecting on the beauty of devotion to the Sacred Heart and inviting all of us to renew our trust in Christ’s love, mercy, healing, and guidance. In his letter, Archbishop Checchio also encourages families to participate in the Sacred Heart Home Enthronement and continue growing in devotion through prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, and evangelization.
