In the nine weeks leading up to Sunday, June 14th, when the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans will be consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Archbishop Checchio has asked asked us all to prepare our hearts for this special event in our local Church's history with specific intentions during the Prayer of the Faithful at Sunday Masses.

Our Men's Conference leadership team will offer some thoughts each week on how these intentions take heart for us as .

Also, remember that in just a bit at 6 PM, is the Archdiocesan Holy Hour where every parish in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans is scheduled to hold a Holy Hour to begin the Sacred Heart Novena.

So many times, “going down the rabbit hole” turns into hours on the phone or computer scrolling through social media and not growing is virtue or wisdom.
