God has never left worship up to us.

True worship is in spirit and in truth. Our heart must be aligned with God’s word. He rejects what He has not authorized, and He calls His people to assemble, sing, pray, teach, give, and partake in the Lord’s Supper according to His pattern, not our preferences.

Worship is our response to a holy God.

Are we offering Him our best… or our leftovers?

It’s measured by leadership, unity, discipline, steadfastness, prayer, discipleship, and overflowing love.

Paul shows us the checkup in 1 Thessalonians 3. These marks keep the body strong and Satan’s footholds closed.

We as a church family are blessed with them. Let’s guard them. Grow them. Live them.

God has not left the organization of His church up to us. He has given us a clear pattern for how His people are to be led, cared for, and equipped to serve.

This week, we’ll continue our Doctrine Series by looking at the leadership roles God has established within the church and the purpose behind them. From shepherding and serving to teaching and equipping, each role carries a God-given responsibility and points us back to His design for His people.

Understanding biblical leadership matters—not only for those who serve in these roles, but for every member of the church who is called to support, follow, serve, and grow together.

Come study with us as we look at God’s design for the organization and leadership of His church. And afterward, stay awhile for a shared meal and fellowship with us! ❤️
