We are a community devoted to Knowing God, Growing Together, and Showing Christ. Our Sunday services are from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. We also have Bible Studies on Sunday mornings at 9:45 and Wednesday mornings at 10:00. Mesquite Cumberland Presbyterian Church is located at:

🎃 We're kicking off our Trunk ’R Treat Boot Camp as we prepare to welcome our neighbors on October 31! This week's challenge is simple:

Make a Connection! A friendly smile and a warm hello can make all the difference.

This week at MCPC, Brenda Jenkins shares a beautiful performance of “Breath of God.”

Through music, we're reminded to slow down, quiet our hearts, and welcome God's presence into our lives.

Sometimes we hold on so tightly to what we have that we miss what God has waiting for us.

In this week's message at MCPC, Wes Johnson shares a touching story about a little girl, her treasured necklace, and a father who was waiting to give her something far more precious.

It's a beautiful reminder of God's love and the wonderful things that can happen when we learn to trust Him and let go.

A quiet moment of worship from MCPC. ❤️

This week, Brenda Jenkins sings “As the Deer,” accompanied by Ray Sharp on piano.

“As the deer panteth for the water, so my soul longeth after Thee.”

Sometimes a simple song and a familiar melody are all we need to slow down for a moment and turn our hearts toward God.

We hope this brings a little peace to your day.

How do we live faithfully in the world without simply becoming like the world?

In this week’s message, Wes Johnson reminds us that following Christ means learning to live somewhere between grace and truth — loving others without losing sight of what we believe.

“All grace is chaos and license. All truth is legalism and bo***ge. We need to be like Christ and somewhere in between.”

How do we do that? We let the Holy Spirit lead.

Fear is something we all experience. But there’s a difference between fear coming upon us and allowing fear to take hold inside us.

In this week’s message, Wes Johnson reminds us that courage isn’t the absence of fear — it’s continuing to trust and follow God even when fear is present.

“We cannot prevent fear from coming on us, but we can reject it getting in us.”
