Dear ACN family…
This past weekend, Heaven welcomed home one of God's faithful servants, our dear brother and friend, Jerry Holland.
Jerry was much more than a brother in Christ. To so many of us, he was a treasured friend who had an extraordinary gift for making each person feel like they were his favorite. His warm smile, genuine love, and sincere interest in others left an indelible mark on everyone privileged to know him.
I was especially blessed to travel with Bro. Jerry to Brazil, where we ministered together at the Acts Christian Network Conference in Rio de Janeiro and in several local churches. As I interpreted his messages into Portuguese, I was not only able to hear him preach but also to witness a man who truly believed the Word of God. His message was always one of faith, hope, and the power of the Holy Spirit. His ministry produced exactly what he preached—lives transformed through miracles, signs, and wonders that glorified Jesus Christ.
For the past six years, Jerry fought a courageous battle. There were many moments when it seemed he was preparing to resume the ministry he loved so deeply. Yet, this past weekend, the very One Jerry served so faithfully and preached about so passionately simply said, "Enough, My good and faithful servant. Come home."
While our hearts ache with loss, we rejoice knowing that Jerry has received his eternal reward. The faith he preached has now become his sight. The Savior he loved has welcomed him into His presence, where there is no more pain, no more suffering, and no more tears.
Bro. Jerry, thank you for your friendship, your unwavering faith, your ministry, and the love you shared so generously and so infectiously with all of us. Your life challenged us to believe bigger, love deeper, and trust God more completely.
You are already missed more than words can express, but we take comfort in knowing that this is not goodbye. Because of the Blessed Hope we have in Christ, we know we will meet again.
Until then, rest well, dear friend. Well done, good and faithful servant.
