From Pastor Will Klinke

Good afternoon beloved. In consultation with key leaders and considering multiple news and weather sources regarding the timing of the freeze; it has been concluded that out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of the church (church is people, not the facilities)… We will be closing the Mesquite Seventh-Day Adventist Church tomorrow/Sabbath, January 24. This will include all services and scheduled programs at the Ebrite facility throughout the day. Please take this opportunity to have a special Sabbath with family. There are many live-streamed services available online, this is an opportunity for you to visit another place virtually. Have fun with it, and let me know where in the world you visited on this blessed Sabbath day. For most of our lives we are in a hurry, this is a blessing from The Lord and an opportunity for extra time with family, experience a change of pace, and have a virtual visit with a new or favorite place. We will be planning a backup service plan for next week in case this weather event extends to make next Sabbath icy as well. Blessings all. Much love.
