Good morning friends. I know it has been awhile since we posted on this page. As many of you know, we have had two shootings here within the past week. We experienced a police chase down our always quiet street over the weekend too. We know that until Jesus comes, things will continue to get worse. Our world is fallen and evil seems to overshadow the good. I know that Mesquite full of devout christians who love the Lord with all their heart. I will not give into the idea that Mesquite is a bad place. This morning, please pray with me for our city. Pray for our residents, particularly our youth, first responders, elected
Officials, teachers and our neighbors all the way around our homes. It is up to us to be the light in the darkness. Find a way today to be the light. It’s easy to retreat when things get hard. Let’s work harder and allow Christ’s love to shine through us.
