The Mesa Temple Visitors' Center will close tomorrow, Saturday, May 19, due to major renovations planned for the Mesa Arizona Temple.

"As part of the renovation, the visitors’ center will be demolished, and a new center will be rebuilt across the street on the southwest corner of Lesueur and Main Street. It will be home to various interactive exhibits and events, historical information about the temple, and family history research and teaching facilities."

Detailed plans of major renovations for the historic Mesa Arizona Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were released Thursday, May 10, 2018, days before the religious building is scheduled to close for a two-year renovation.

This youth group, consisting of 42 teenagers and 10 adult leaders, visited three temples in one day. They started at the Gila Valley Temple, then proceeded to the Gilbert Temple, and finished the afternoon/evening at the . We are grateful for their example and their enthusiasm for temple service.

A new MEET THE MORMONS film, "The Craftsman," is now showing at the visitors' center. The 20-minute video documents the story of Danny Sorenson, a former bishop and airplane pilot from Bountiful, Utah. It took Danny 14 years to build a plane. He said, "The whole time that I thought I was crafting this airplane, my Heavenly Father was crafting me." The visitors’ center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
