On November 21st one of the pillars of our church, Mrs. Dorothy Samples went home to be with our Lord. We are thankful to God for her life and her example of faith and service. She was loved by all and her sweet smile and kindness will be sorely missed. We are comforted in knowing that she is in the arms of the Father no longer in pain, and hearing the words, “well done good and faithful servant”. Please be in prayer for her daughter Marita Reese and family.

PRAY FOR JAMAICA

Hurricane Melissa has severely impacted the country of Jamaica, causing significant devastation in the western part of the island. The GC Missions team is gathering more information to determine how we can best assist our sister conference.

In the meantime, we ask the body of Christ across the United States and Canada to join us in prayer for our brothers and sisters in Jamaica, that they may be protected and strengthened during this natural disaster.

El huracán Melissa ha impactado severamente a Jamaica, causando una devastación significativa en la zona oeste de la isla. El equipo de Misiones de la Asociación General está recopilando más información para determinar cómo podemos ayudar mejor a nuestra conferencia hermana.

Mientras tanto, pedimos al cuerpo de Cristo en Estados Unidos y Canadá que se una a nosotros en oración por nuestros hermanos y hermanas en Jamaica, para que reciban protección y fortaleza durante este desastre natural.
