The Sword of the Spirit & Shield of Faith

10/26/2026

Starting November 1, join us in person at all East Coast Church locations for a brand-new At the Movies series! 🎥🍿 We’ll take some of your favorite movie moments and look at them through the lens of God’s Word, finding faith, hope, courage, and truth in stories you already know and love.

And the fun isn’t just for the adults! Kids will have their own At the Movies experience in Kids Church, with movies and lessons just for them.

Grab your friends, bring the family, and join us at the movies!

Sunday Recap 🙌

Today was filled with powerful worship, meaningful fellowship, and a great message from Pastor Matt as we continued our Armor of God series, focusing on the sword of the Spirit and the shield of faith.

The Word of God is our weapon against the lies of the enemy, reminding us of what is true when fear, doubt, and discouragement try to take hold. As we face challenges in our own lives, we can choose to reject the lies that hold us back and stand on the truth of who God says we are. When we put our faith in Him and put His Word into practice, we can stand firm in every battle, trusting that He is our protector and strength🛡️⚔️

Pastor Matt gave us some great direction, and we took it very seriously 🎬

Our new sermon series, At the Movies, kicks off November 1st at all locations!

Just like Jesus used parables to teach spiritual truths, we’re using stories from the big screen to explore biblical principles and how they apply to our lives. Can’t wait to see you there!

Still thinking about this night of worship 🙌

What a powerful time in the presence of God as we gathered together to lift up the name of Jesus and worship Him as one church family. Nights like these remind us of the beauty of coming together with our eyes fixed on Him.

A huge thank you to Bayside Worship for leading us in worship and being part of such a special night at East Coast. We’re so grateful we got to share this time together! 🤍
