And they shall know we are Christians by our love. Today we packed the Layette Kits we gathered the supplies for in the fall. Each of these kits contains baby blankets, diapers, onesies, washcloths, infant sweaters and sleepers, and the United Methodist Church ships them all over the world to support mothers recovering from natural disasters. Thank you to everyone to donated supplies, helped pack the kits, or just prayed for us as we went. You are the hands and feet of Christ, working to transform the world.

Buy one get one (but you still have to pay for the second one!) Garage sale, Plant Sal, and Bake Sale at the church today. Come get yourself something neat and support the missions and ministry of the church while you’re at it!

Spring is here! We had a fantastic Easter season at the church this year. Thank you to everyone who hid eggs, led services, and came to join us for worship, study, and fellowship. He is risen! Hallelujah!

"Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." Luke 23:46 Today is Good Friday, the day on which our savior gave his life so that we may live forever with God. Join us at noon today to hear Christ's seven words from the cross and prepare yourself for the long vigil to Easter. The church will remain open after the service for Stations of the Cross and individual prayer.

The Merrimac ecumenical Maundy Thursday Service will be at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 6pm.

"say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 12 He will show you a large room upstairs, all furnished. Make preparations there.” Luke 22:11-12. On Maundy Thursday we remember Christ's last supper in which he demonstrated for all of us the humility of servant leadership by washing the feet of his disciples, and then instituted for all generations to sacrament of communion. Break bread with us tonight to celebrate this last shared meal on the walk to the cross. Come as you are.

It's a long walk to the foot of the cross. The church is open until 8pm today, and again on Friday. You may follow the guided stations of the cross, or just take some time to pray and reflect. Come as you are.

Services are cancelled today 3/15 due to weather. Pastor Erick will upload a message and prayer to facebook later for worship at home. Have a safe and blessed Sabbath everyone.
