📚 The things we hope students carry with them.

For St. Paul teacher Mary Williams, teaching is about more than what students learn during their time in the classroom. It’s about the kind of people they’re becoming and the values they carry with them along the way. 💙

A love of learning. The confidence to own your mistakes. The willingness to grow. ✨

We’re grateful for the educators who pour so much into our students and leave a lasting impression along the way.

💬 What’s something you still carry with you from a teacher who made a difference in your life?

📚✨ School Feature Friday: Lake County Area

Our Catholic schools are places where students grow in faith, build meaningful friendships, and discover their God-given gifts. ✝️🤍

This week, we’re highlighting three schools serving families in the Lake County area:

📍 St. Thomas More School — Munster, IN
📍 Our Lady of Grace School — Highland, IN
📍 St. Mary School — Griffith, IN

From the classroom to the community, these schools are helping students grow academically, spiritually, and personally while being surrounded by caring teachers, supportive families, and strong school communities. 🌱📚

🏆 We’re proud to recognize St. Thomas More School as a National Blue Ribbon School, an honor that celebrates its commitment to academic excellence and student achievement.

We’re grateful for the students, educators, and families who make each of these school communities so special. 🤍

📚✝️ Meet the Saints of September!

September allows us to learn from three saints whose lives show us what it means to follow Christ through love, faith, and service. 🤍

🌹 St. Teresa of Calcutta — September 5
She reminds us that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. We can follow her example by helping those who are struggling and treating every person with dignity.

📖 St. Matthew the Apostle — September 21
St. Matthew reminds us that Jesus calls each of us to follow Him. We can follow his example by learning from Scripture, listening for God’s call, and sharing His love with others.

🤝 St. Vincent de Paul — September 27
St. Vincent reminds us that faith is meant to be lived through love and service. We can follow his example by helping those in need, giving generously, and serving with kindness.

As our students learn about these saints this September, may their examples inspire us all to grow in faith, love our neighbors, and put our faith into action each day. ✨

🙏St. Teresa of Calcutta, St. Matthew, and St. Vincent de Paul, pray for us!

✝️Faith at the center of everything we do.

“Academically, personally, and spiritually, the center of it all is Jesus.”

At our Diocese of Gary Catholic schools, faith isn’t separate from learning; it’s the foundation of it. When students grow in their relationship with Chris, they also grow in confidence, character, and academic excellence. 📚🤍

Every day, we’re forming students to lead with wisdom, compassion, and faith. Queen of All Saints School (Michigan City, IN)
