Greater Grace Church Pastor Rodney C. Griffin, Jr. Our purpose is to give visible form to the faith and fellowship to which God has called His people.

Join us at The Place of Grace each Sunday at 9am for The Grace Academy and Compass Course, followed by Corporate Prayer at 10:15am, and The Grace Encounter at 10:30am. We acknowledge ourselves to be a local manifestation of the universal church through which Jesus Christ continues to minister to the world by his Holy Spirit. We seek to fulfill this calling through corporate worship services, throu

gh a program of Christian nurture by which our member may be built up in their faith and love, through proclamation of the Gospel by word and deed, and ministering through mission to human need in the name of Christ.

Tomorrow is the First Sunday of a brand new month and we are excited to get to the house of the Lord! Meet Pastor Griffin tomorrow at 10:30am as we kick off a new sermon series, Teach Me How To Pray. Clear your heart and mind as we will be partaking of the Lord's Supper. Be sure to read Luke 11 & Exodus 25 and come prepared to receive something from the Lord. Tomorrow is the day we wait all week for—and we want to see you in The Place! Join us at 9:00am for Grace Overflow Outdoor Baptism. And then stick around for service as we close out The Beat and the Bible sermon series. Read Psalm 63 and 1 Samuel 23 to prepare your heart and mind to receive the Word. This is also Emerging Generations takeover Sunday so come out and support our children and youth as they lead us in worship. Remember we are in a month of rest so service will be in-person ONLY. Summer 2026 has been devastating for Merrillville and the surrounding communities. In June, several residents were displaced when an EF2 tornado ripped through our town. And just a few weeks ago, an unprecedented derecho knocked out the power for nearly 60% of the residents and businesses in NWI.

In response to the ongoing needs of our community, we’ve partnered with United MegaCare and The Potter’s House of Dallas, Texas to provide resources to help ease the immediate financial and food-security burdens many families are facing as they continue recovering from the storms.

As the region recovers, we want to be a source of help, hope, and healing. We will be giving away 500 pre-packaged food boxes this Saturday from 9:00am–12:00pm (or while supplies last) at Greater Grace North.
