Wednesdays, May 27–July 8, 2026
All events begin at 7:00 PM, with doors opening earlier for food and fellowship

Embark on a transformative journey of faith and fellowship with our Summer Young Adult Speaker Series, specially curated for Catholic young adults aged 18–39. Begin rooted in the Eucharist as we gather for Mass and community, and continue through a dynamic exploration of faith in everyday life—recognizing God’s presence in the ordinary, encountering the depth of Christ’s love through the Sacred Heart, and learning the art of discernment in the midst of life’s decisions.

In a world searching for purpose and belonging, discover your essential role in the Church’s mission and reflect on your unique voice and calling within it. Experience the richness of the Church’s tradition through the beauty of the Byzantine Liturgy, and be invited into deeper prayer through Adoration, praise, and worship.

These enriching opportunities not only deepen your understanding of the Catholic faith but also offer practical ways to live it out daily, forming you to be a witness of hope and love in the world. Join us as we gather in fellowship, dialogue, and prayer, igniting the flames of faith and building lasting connections with one another and with God.

Have you ever wanted to experience the universal Church in a powerful, personal way?

World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul, South Korea is an opportunity to join the Holy Father and millions of young adults from around the globe for worship, community, cultural exchange, and an unforgettable encounter with Christ.

This pilgrimage includes:
-Prayer and worship with the Holy Father
-Journey with Bishop Robert McClory and other pilgrims from Northwest Indiana
-Connection with young Catholics from around the world
-Immersion in Korean culture and Church life
-A faith experience that stays with you long after the journey ends
-An optional pre-WYD trip to learn about the Catholic faith in Japan

Diocese of Gary World Youth Day Pilgrimage
July 31 - August 9, 2027
Seoul, South Korea
For ages 18-35

The Diocesan Young Adult Ministry is taking a pilgrimage to World Youth Day in Seoul, South Korea, from July 31 to August 9, 2027. The trip will include all World Youth Day activities, site visits to the Korean DMZ and other historical sites.

An optional pre-pilgrimage to Japan, starting July 26, is available. This will include a visit to Tokoyo and Nagaski to visit Catholic pilgrim sites and cultural/historical sites.

Our last information night is tonight, Thursday, February 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pastoral Center in Merrillville (9292 Broadway, Merrillville, IN). Please come to the back door of the office.

World Youth Day Pilgrimage
July 31 - August 9, 2027

For ages 18-35

The Diocesan Young Adult Ministry is taking a pilgrimage to World Youth Day in Seoul, South Korea, from July 31 to August 9, 2027. The trip will include all World Youth Day activities, site visits to the Korean DMZ and other historical sites.

An optional pre-pilgrimage to Japan, starting July 26, is available. This will include a visit to Tokoyo and Nagaski to visit Catholic pilgrim sites and cultural/historical sites.

Two information nights will be offered:

Monday, February 23 at 6 - 7 p.m. (Online Meeting)

Thursday, February 26 at 6:30 p.m. (Pastoral Center in Merrillville)
