Christ the Cornerstone Lutheran Church of NWI We come together in worship and in service to our Lord and community, using teachings based upon a belief in the authority of the Holy Scriptures.

Christ the Cornerstone is a church focused on a strong desire to stay grounded in our fundamental Lutheran teachings and beliefs. We have built our church on Christ as our firm foundation and our centerpiece. We meet in the South Sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church in Merrillville each Sunday at 9:30am for worship service and communion. After worship has finished, we gather in fellowship for refreshments. We have joined with the North American Lutheran Church in common beliefs in the four Core Values:
