Building More Than Buildings in Ethiopia

We are grateful to share another encouraging update from Ethiopia!

The doors and windows for two new house church buildings in the Ambo area have been completed and are now being installed as construction continues. These simple structures will provide places for worship, discipleship, prayer, and Gospel outreach in communities where believers are faithfully serving Christ.

Negash, national coordinator for IOI, expressed his gratitude for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support that are helping make this work possible. Each gift is helping create spaces where the Good News of Jesus Christ can be shared for years to come.

🙏 The completion of these two house church buildings.
🙏 The ongoing Gospel ministry in the Ambo region.
🙏 Negash and the church leaders who are faithfully serving throughout the country.

Please continue praying for Dr. Peter Stafford, who remains critically ill but is now receiving expert medical care in Berlin following his Ebola diagnosis in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Peter shared, “Before I was evacuated, I was feeling really concerned I wasn’t going to make it. And now I’m cautiously optimistic.”

We are deeply grateful for the doctors, nurses, and medical teams caring for Peter around the clock, as well as the many people who have prayed, served, and worked tirelessly behind the scenes during this crisis.

Please pray:
• for Peter’s healing and recovery
• for Rebekah and their children, who remain asymptomatic and under monitoring
• for Dr. Patrick LaRochelle, who also remains asymptomatic
• for the Congolese communities, patients, and healthcare workers affected by this outbreak
• for wisdom, mercy, and strength for all responding to the crisis
