The 18th Diocesan MTVEA Conference was hosted by the Mar Thoma Church of Dallas, Farmers Branch, Texas (Mar Thoma Church of Dallas Farmers Branch), from August 20-23, 2026. The conference was led by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa, and main speaker Rev. Dr. Mothy Varkey, along with other speakers. The theme for this year’s conference was: “Come and See – The Divine Invite,” based on John 1:39, 46. More than 600 delegates including clergy and families, from around USA & Canada participated.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa inaugurated വേരുകൾ തേടി (Verukal Thedi): Finding the Roots – The Heritage Corridor at Philadelphia Ascension Mar Thoma Church.
This permanent historical exhibit takes visitors on a journey through nearly 2,000 years of the Mar Thoma Church's faith and witness—from the Great Commission and the arrival of St. Thomas the Apostle in India to the Church's continuing mission today.

The Diocesan Council (2026-2029) of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church - Diocese of North America met on Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Long Island Mar Thoma Church, Merrick, New York. The meeting was presided over by the Diocesan Bishop & President, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Abraham Mar Paulos Episcopa.

Today, July 4th, the United States celebrates the 250th Independence Day. On this day in 1776, the Declaration of Independence was adopted after being voted on, and became an independent nation. Let us thank God for the United States of America, the freedom we experience, and continue to pray for the country, leaders, and the people. May God bless the United States of America.

On July 3, we celebrate St. Thomas Day, whereby we remember the life, ministry, mission, and especially his martyrdom. Let us thank God for the life of St. Thomas, who came to India in A.D. 52. Let us pray that His faith in Christ and His commitment to the sharing of the gospel may be reflected in our lives and enable us to walk in the path of Christ.

The South East Region Sunday School of the Diocese of North America of the Mar Thoma Church held its annual Junior and Senior Conference from June 25–28, 2026, at Bryn Athyn College, Pennsylvania. The conference brought together 191 participants for worship, Bible study, fellowship, and spiritual formation under the theme "Subscribe, Transform, Do Not Conform."
