Introducing our new Tot Shabbat Morah!

With a growing youth population here at YIM we are very excited to announce the hire of our new Tot Shabbat Morah, Sarah Maler.

Sarah will be running Tot Shabbat in our shul for all children under the age of 7. She initially will be joining our shul every other Shabbos morning from 9:30-11:30am and we are hopeful that as our community grows, this role will expand.

A little message from Sarah:
Hello, Young Israel of Merrick families! My name is Sarah Maler. I am originally from Florida, but recently moved to North Bellmore from Baltimore, Maryland. I was working as a preschool teacher for 11 years before deciding to change careers. I have always had a passion for working with children and I look forward to spending time getting to know you and your children during Tot Shabbat!

Inagural Shabbat is this week, October 16th!

Very special thank you to Rebbetzin Rena Winston for overseeing the hiring process.

If you would like to sponsor a future Tot Shabbat please email Rabbi Winston at [email protected]
