Discipleship a key word in today's church. Discipleship is an important role in church families, no doubt. The problem arises when we put broken people in a position of leadership or discipleship. Broken people who have not had restoration through professional counseling will only go on to hurt others. Or, broken people trying to help other broken people. We have all seen where that goes, trouble. Today Jesus wants us to be whole and blessed. John 10:10 says Jesus came to give us life and life abundant. Don't let the stigma of "professional counseling" keep you from abundant life and health. Pastor Kathy

Mark 4 says "the kingdom of God is like if a man plants a seed in the ground". Jesus is trying to get us to be kingdom minded. The kingdom operates by seedtime and harvest. In another verse Jesus said we are farmers, our seeds are words. The challenge is to keep the weeds out. To plant seeds of love and kindness, mercy and grace. Then our harvest will be good and pleasing to God.

Malachi 4 talks about stealing from God and the people said "Lord how have we stole from you"? God said "in tithes and offerings". Today the church is afraid to talk about money. People don't like it when you talk money. As the church we are doing a great disservice to our people because God said "prove me in this I will pour you out blessings that you can't contain".
We talk about the tithe and offering to get blessings to you. Don't get offended, God wants to bless you.

In Mark 6:43-52 the disciples came to Jesus and said it is late and there's no food. Send the people home. Jesus then said you feed them. But they could not see a way to do that, Jesus prayed but the fish and loaves didn't multiple until the disciples past them out. It was what was in their hands that multiplied. Today, what is in your hands that Jesus can multiply?
Love, food, friendship, money, the list goes on...

Day 3 Busting Through the Roof
Brothers couldn’t get through the crowd so they climbed up on the roof and busted through the roof to lower their paraplegic friend onto Jesus so he could be healed.
Our biggest amount of kids yet at 26 strong on our last day and an amazingly fun water balloon fight to end it. What a last this whole week was and thank you for letting us share God with your children this past week.
To all the helpers with story time, crafts, snacks and music you all did amazing and are more then appreciated.
Please come join us this Sunday at 11am so the kids can show off their new moves and dance skills.

24 kids for day one and we are all exhausted in such a good way.

Isaac Koogler the sermon today was absolutely fantastic. Cannot wait to continue to watch the growth and hear the healing words spoken through this man.

Working on music and dances for VBS today and all I can say is the kids are going to love these!!!! Their performance of all learned at VBS will be that Sunday.
