This picture is special.
In 2024, Dusty handed out one of the very first plates of locally sourced beef to a child at a feeding center in Togo, Africa. What you see in this photo is more than a meal. It is the result of God's provision flowing through His people.
Dusty left for Africa today, and my devotional this morning was about generous giving. How perfect is God’s timing on sending me those words on a day like today?
As I've been asking for Meat the Need prayers and financial support for the children in Togo, the Lord reminded me of something important: everything we have comes from Him.
Our income, our health, our homes, our food, our opportunities, our ability to work—none of it is ultimately from our own strength. Every good gift is from the Lord.
When we give, we are not losing something that belongs to us. We are stewarding something that first belonged to God. We give so that He is glorified. We give so that children can hear the good news of Jesus. We give so that hungry children can be fed and know that hope is available to them through Christ.
The Gospel changes lives. A meal may fill a stomach for a day, but the hope found in Jesus changes eternity.
This child in the picture received a meal because people chose to give. He has heard the Gospel because people chose to give.
Hope reaches places it otherwise wouldn't because people choose to give.
Please know that all of your generosity helps put meals on plates, but more importantly, it helps share the hope of Christ with children who need Him.
All GLORY TO GOD! ❤️ Please continue praying 🙏 for Dusty as he makes this trip alone.
