Our Pastor delivered a heartfelt and powerful word Sunday evening in honor of his dear friend of over 30 years, Reverend Edgar Timmons Jr. 💙🙏🏾

What a beautiful blessing it was to hear the cherished memories, heartfelt reflections, and testimonies shared by those whose lives Pastor Timmons has touched throughout the years.

The Elm Grove Baptist Church family continues to lift Pastor Timmons and his family in prayer, trusting God for continued healing, renewed strength, and a complete recovery in His perfect timing. 💙🙏🏾

🎶❤️ “NEAR THE CROSS” — A TRIBUTE OF LOVE, FAITH, AND HEALING! 🙌🏽✝️

What an AMAZING time we had in the Lord today at First African Baptist Church, of Harris Neck.

Elm Grove Baptist Church celebrated the Pastoral Anniversary of Reverend Timmons! ❤️ Our Pastor Bestfriend for over 30 years.

Although Reverend Timmons could not be with us physically as he continues his journey of healing and recovery, his presence was certainly felt through the love, prayers, and celebration of God’s goodness!

Under the leadership of our gifted Minister of Music, Sis. Whitney Williams-Davis, the Elm Grove Baptist Church Choir delivered a heartfelt and powerful musical tribute, “Near the Cross,” in honor of Reverend Timmons. 🎶

What a beautiful reminder that even in trying seasons there is still POWER, PEACE, and HEALING at the foot of the cross! 🙏🏽

Pastor Timmons, your Elm Grove family loves you, honors you, and continues to stand in faith for your complete healing and restoration! ❤️

Though you were absent in body, we made sure your anniversary was celebrated with the love and praise it deserved. And one thing is certain — WE HAD A HIGH TIME IN CHRIST just like he wanted! 🙌🏽🔥

To God be the glory for the great things He has done, and for the greater things yet to come!
