Sabbath was the sign of the covenant YHVH made with His people (Exodus 31:12-18). You can think of this “sign” as a wedding ring. As a bride wears a wedding ring, she is reminded of the covenant she has made with her husband. As Israel remembered the Sabbath each week, they were reminded of the Covenant made with YHVH. They would remember that they were a set-apart nation. Just as Sabbath came every seven days, week in and week out without fail, so would their covenant stand before YHVH before all generations. The Sabbath would be the sign between them, their wedding ring, forever. “All that YHVH has spoken we will do.”

I believe that there is a great awakening coming, a massive tide that is going to shake the modern church at its very core.

Over and over, I keep hearing people say they can't get into the "Christmas spirit" this year. And it's all over social media.

They say they can't get motivated or excited.

They say it doesn't feel like Christmas.

They also say they don't feel sad or depressed or anything, they just don't feel very "Christmas-y" this year.

I saw it some last year, but this year, it's much more prevalent.

And I don't believe it is a coincidence. I definitely don't think that there is a "war against Christmas" or anything like that.

At least, not in the sense of "taking Christ out of Christmas" and things along that flawed and false vein.

I believe that God is withdrawing from His people who choose to practice these pagan traditions even though He said we should not.

Acts 17:30 says that God once winked at sin because the people were ignorant of the truth.

But truth seekers are now flooding the world with news of Yehovah's feast days and Sabbath - and the command that we are to keep them.

In doing so, they are shining a light on the evil of the pagan traditions. Some are waking up and coming to realize that obedience to Yehovah means walking as Yeshua walked.

We have opened the floodgates as the people of Yehovah stand in His word and proclaim the truth of HIS feast days, HIS Sabbaths, HIS ways. Our words are reaching so many people. Many still reject it, some embrace it - then there are those who don't lean one way or the other. They might be curious, but they aren't ready to commit.

The point is, I really don't think that Yehovah is winking anymore.

There are curses that come with defiling the Sabbath, with the rejection of His feast days. These are commands that all believers are to keep.

And yet, they make themselves their own gods because they choose pagan traditions that are of the world, instead of the holy feast days that are of Yehovah.

Yehovah will NOT sanctify what He has deemed to be unclean. He will not bless it.

He said it is an ABOMINATION unto Him to try to christianize pagan traditions. He said that we are NOT to do them in His name.

So, if you are not quite feeling the "Christmas spirit" or it doesn't quite feel like Christmas this year, Yehovah may be calling you to a deeper walk with Him.

Don't fight it.

Hit your knees and ask Him to reveal to you what HE wants from you.

Get into His word and see what HE has to say about how we are to walk in HIS way and not our own.
