Discuss with your children about being peacemakers. Tonight we continued our lessons on Abraham and how he kept peace between him and Lot and trusted that God would take care of him. They learned ways to be peacemakers in certain situations, but maybe not during this marshmallow fight! 🤣

At first, we were split into groups to do puzzles, but we realized that we didn't have all the pieces in our separate groups. We could tell some things about the puzzle, but we didn't know what the whole picture would be like. We had to come together with all of our pieces in order to finish the puzzle. We discussed how life is similar in that we only see little pieces of the picture a day at a time. We don't know what our lives will be like a year from now or even a day from now, but God does! And that's why we can trust Him to guide us like He guided Abraham. We are continuing to learn more about Abraham over the next couple of weeks in our Wednesday Night Children's Ministries.

Following God takes a lot of faith sometimes. Our children are learning that Abraham had faith and followed God when he didn't know what was ahead of him. Join us on Wednesdays from 6:00-6:45!
