New Beginning Christian Fellowship NBCF is a fellowship committed to passionate worship, passionate teaching, and passionate discipleship as we serve a passionate God. PASTOR - Terry Ivy

We meet Sunday Mornings at 10:30 for corporate worship and teaching. Our worship is a constant mix of contemporary and hymns, but the main emphasis is that they minister and encourage worship and praise to our Lord and Savior. Our teaching varies from expository to topical, but always with in-depth application. We are constantly looking to the Holy Spirit's leading regarding subjects and messages

which are on point for the present need of the local body. We have multiple small groups to choose from that meet throughout the week in various locations and neighborhoods in Meridian, Quitman and the surrounding areas. Small groups (we call them discipleship groups) meet 3 terms a year (Spring, Summer, Fall). Each term is approximately 10 weeks and gives believers great opportunity for in-depth discussion and learning. If you are looking for a fellowship where you can learn the truths of God's Word, experience freedom in Praise and Worship, get discipled and learn to disciple, and use your gifts for God's Glory, this is the place for you.

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM LEADERSHIP TEAM: Meridian is on the border of freezing rain. It appears that it will be just above us. However, the weather service is saying that Sunday morning we will have 30 mph winds with a threat of tornadoes in our area. That, along with the 97% - 100% prediction of lightening and storms, we feel it is wise to cancel our gathering this Sunday. A lot of responsibility falls upon our shoulders and we would rather be safe than sorry by not having anyone on the roads.

Let’s pray for one another and take care of our neighbors. Contact all your friends and visitors that you know.

Today our children reminded us of the true meaning of Christmas. Jesus is the Light who shines in the darkness, bringing hope and love to the world. Through simple words, sweet songs, and faithful hearts, they shared a powerful message far bigger than themselves.

We are so proud of our kids and deeply thankful for the teachers and families who helped make this morning so special. May His light continue to shine through all of us, this season and always.
