Title: Love Never Fails
Text: 1 Corinthians 13:4–8a
Tonight we were reminded that real love is not fragile, temporary, or based on feelings. The Word declares that love never fails because it comes from God and reflects His character.
Point 1: Love Is Rooted in God’s Nature
1 John 4:7–8 teaches us that love begins with Him. God doesn’t just show love. He is love. If we are truly connected to Him, His love should flow through us. This kind of love is patient, kind, and genuine because it mirrors His heart.
Point 2: Love Endures Beyond Circumstances
In 1 Corinthians 13:4–7, we saw that love is not easily shaken. It doesn’t quit when tested. It doesn’t give up when offended. It bears, believes, hopes, and endures all things. Circumstances change, emotions fluctuate, but godly love remains steady.
Point 3: Love Has Eternal Impact
Romans 8:38–39 reminds us that nothing can separate us from the love of God. His love outlasts trials, time, and even death itself. When we operate in His love, we are investing in something eternal. Love leaves a legacy.
Mini Reflection:
Tonight was a call to examine our hearts. Are we loving based on convenience, or are we loving from conviction? The love God calls us to walk in is not seasonal it is steadfast. When we stay rooted in Him, we can love in a way that doesn’t collapse under pressure. And when we choose that kind of love, we reflect heaven here on earth.
