Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist Vocations

Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist Vocations The Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist, a congregation of Women Religious, are full of hope for the Francis of Assisi to rebuild the Church. Like St.

The Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist continue the call of St. Clare, we are vowed religious women who embody the spirit of St. Francis and seek to enflame humanity with a sense of the sacred found deep within each person. We are dedicated to the teachings of the Holy Father and maintain authentic perennial values while initiating new forms of apostolic service. Our way of life is centered by th

e Holy Eucharist and strong community bonding. These lay the foundation for our many outreaches into the complexities of today's world. Our motherhouse is in Meriden, Connecticut and Sisters live in community in centers in Oregon, Idaho, Texas, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, Virginia, Jerusalem and Rome and Assisi, Italy. We work in complement with the Franciscan Brothers of the Eucharist. We welcome you to find out if God is calling you to be a member of our growing Community.

An impressive panoramic view of the stadium this evening during the Revival Session with the theme "This is My Body." The program schedule includes keynote and testimonial speakers: "Bishop Robert Barron, Gloria Purvis, and Tim Glemkowski will point to the early Church as our model for discipleship and encourage each of us to take up their mantle more intentionally—living the Gospel by loving God and neighbor with all our hearts, minds, and souls. Jonathan Roumie will share his personal testimony."

Our FSE Eucharistic pilgrims happily came in contact with friends from several of our centers - former colleagues, students, priests, seminarians and Bishop Michael Martin, OFM Conv, with whom the Sisters worked at the Duke Catholic Center. A joyful reunion for all!

On the feast of the Transfiguration, August 6, Sister Jeanne d'Arc Paquette, FSE professed perpetual vows as a Franciscan Sister of the Eucharist. Mother Miriam Seiferman, Mother General, received Sister's vows and warmly welcomed her as a fully professed member of the Community. The Most Reverend Leonard P. Blair, Archbishop of Hartford, was the main celebrant and bestowed the blessing of the Church and the ring of profession on Sister Jeanne d'Arc. The Community of Franciscan Sisters and Brothers, family and friends rejoice with Sister Jeanne d'Arc on her life commitment and the gift she is for us and for the Church.
