Today we remember all those who were affected by the events of D-Day; especially the Reverend Robert Wallace Cudworth who landed with the US Navy at Omaha Beach, Normandy France 6/6/1944.
Deacon Bob was ordained in December 1990.
He served with the people of St. John the Evangelist Church in Wallingford, Trinity Church in Portland, Grace Church, Newington, and St. John’s Church, West Hartford.
He passed away December 2015.
May his soul and all the departed rest in peace.

The ECCT Deacons who gather for weekly check-in encourage and invite you to add the following concerns to your personal and parish devotions this week.
We offer prayers:..of thanksgiving for all deacons who are about to retire..for all victims of gun violence..for those who continue to recover from surgery..for Bishop Lina, and the people of The Episcopal Diocese of Western Massachusetts upon the occasion of her episcopal ordination..for the reconciliation of misdirected anger, frustration, and fear; and that the hearts of those who hold such feelings find love..for all travelers on the road..for the 3,800 children and youth of CT living in foster care..for all armed forces deployed in harm's way..for those who believe they are hearing a call to ordained ministry..for deacons everywhere
Amen.
