Mary's Closet
In honor of the profound impact that Mary Lyon's compassion, generosity, and loving presence had on the St. Andrew's Meriden community, we are pleased to continue her legacy through Mary's Closet, a clothing ministry that officially opened during our Food Pantry and Hot Breakfast on Saturday, July 18.

Dear Friends,

It is with deepest sadness that I announce to you the death of our friend Mary Lyons. I have met with Heather and Kyle, her daughters, and these are her arrangements.

There will be calling hours on Tuesday, April 21, from 9 am until 11 am at John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St. in Meriden, just a few doors down from the church. Following this, at 11:30 am, there will be a service of Burial and Holy Communion at St. Andrew's, with interment to follow immediately after the service at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's memory may be made to Meriden Soup Kitchen, P.O. Box 2138, Meriden, CT 06450.
