Meriden Church of Christ

Meriden Church of Christ We are the Meriden Church of Christ. We welcome you and encourage you to visit us! We are striving to be the church you read about in the New Testament.

We are simply a group of Christians committed to the teaching of the Bible and to being faithful followers of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our focus is on God and our Lord Jesus Christ who loved people and died on their behalf. We teach only from the Bible and we study both the Old and New Testaments. Our clergy are regular men who are called by their given names and not by special titles such as "fathe

r" or "reverend". Our worship is patterened after that which we read about in the New Testament and is always spirited and yet reverent. Our fellowship is warm and friendly and it doesn't take long to get to know everyone. Our congregation is made up of all kinds of people: different races and backgrounds, old and young, married and single. Our diversity adds to the personality of this warm congregation

In addition to our worship assemblies, we provide Bible classes for all age groups and frequently schedule special classes to meet the needs of new Christians, young adults and teens. We have an active youth program, singles group, and lots of activities for everyone. There are numerous opportunities to fellowship with others including sharing meals together, picnics, home studies, and devotionals.

A Moment In His Word 🌿

5 But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.

6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.

7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
