No words! 😢😢😢 Unable to express this profound loss. This one hurts. Bishop Pender was family, a big brother and great loss to the Body of Christ. Praying for Lady Pender, Bishop Cheryl Smith and the entire Beth-El Churches of Christ, Inc., organization. Gone but never forgotten. Rest well Bishop! 💔💔💔

Consider those women who have gone before, sheroes of old, Miriam, Deborah, Rahab, Esther, Abigail, Naomi, and Ruth. And the sheroes of new, Elizabeth, Mary, Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Lydia, and Lois. Remember their faith, commitment, strength, perseverance, courage and confidence. Do not become bowed down by the burdens of the world. Instead, allow them to slip off your back as you rise up to the ways of love and hope ~ God
