Interim Pastor Heintzelman shares the sermon for Pentecost Sunday, May 31, 2020 remotely. We will resume in-person sermons no less than 6 days after Franklin county enters the "Green Phase." The council decided to only open in the green phase after consultation with the Synod.

https://youtu.be/alB41qeUxgY

The Synod strongly discouraged opening in the yellow phase due to the limitation of keeping the congregation to 25 people. There are logistical issues with this restriction that the Synod felt problematic. We have decided to heed that suggestion. We will send a more informative letter via mail and email regarding the safety precautions we are going to take during in-person worship.

We are excited to see you again when the "green light" is given!

Blessings to you and yours.

Good Sunday morning St. John's members!

I am sending this group email to you, the congregation of St. John's, to wish you continued safety and health during this covid-19 corona virus crisis. Unfortunately, we are unable to worship together at St. John's again this morning, however, we can still rejoice and give thanks that Christ is Risen and Jesus is present in our lives and in our hearts. When it safe to return to worship at St. John's, we will celebrate being together as we continue to practice social distancing and protective measures. If you have internet access, please check my sermon on St. John's website and Face Book page. If you need help or pastoral care, please contact me at my home or cell phones or by email. God bless you and stay safe, stay strong, and love the Lord and neighbor!
