Christ is Risen! The Orthodox Inter Seminary Movement is proud to present the ninth episode of our new Words of Wisdom (WoW) video series featuring Father Paul Abernathy.

In this episode, Father Paul emphasizes the importance of cultivating our hearts with prayer in preparation to serve others. He discusses how a tender heart is necessary to hearing the cries of those in need and offering them the greatest gift they can receive: prayer and the presence of an altar in the center of the community.

Join us for future episodes of Words of Wisdom every Friday at 8pm. WoW is a series of brief addresses to the students of the various Orthodox schools of theology from pastoral, spiritual, and ministerial leaders of the Church. Its mission is to offer students preparing for a lifetime of service in the Church an assortment of concise but personal messages of advice from a variety of admired and experienced Orthodox Christian leaders.
