Your Unity Community Halfway between West Middlesex and Mercer, just east of Greenfield, right along 318, stands a little white church. It has stood there for 115 years!

Isaiah 42:3-4 (NIV)
3 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not s***f out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;
4 He will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. It has stood there for 115 years, calling home the veterans of WW1, WW2, the Korean Conflict, the Viet Nam war,Dessert Storm, the Gulf wars. This little church, withstood the

tornado of 1984,
and wrapped herself around folks after the murder of JFK, MLK and the destruction of the World Trade Towers. She has been the center of community and has witnessed numerous weddings,baptisms and funerals. Yet, her story is not told in the timbers that define her steep pitched roof or the rough hewn stone that carries her girth. Her story lives in the good folks of a faithful, loving, caring congregation which each week joins to raise their voices in song, their hearts in prayer,
their hands in service, to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A welcoming, laughing Community of believers, friends and neighbors, join us!

From the Christmas Eve Homily, O Holy Night
7:15, Christmas Eve, Unity Church

"Who would expect that the rough, strong hands of a carpenter, would be those that caught this wet newborn, bit through its cord and gently laid it to its mother’s breast?

Joseph saw more of his wife that night than he had ever seen, even though they were married. A man who wielded a mallet and chisel, who could deftly whack a board into place, that man, gently coaching this young girl through her first delivery, supporting her, encouraging her, ultimately embracing her as she nursed this child.

Looking at his son, who he knew was not really his son, but with the same humility that his wife had answered Gabriel 9 months earlier, “Behold your servant,” lifted up his child in those big strong hands, and offered back to the real Father, His true son..."

Folks! We share in both the joy and sorrow of Albert (Butch) Marsh passing today. He is at rest, he is at peace and out of pain with the Father. He also left a very big hole in people's lives.

O blessed communion,
Fellow ship divine,

For all are thine,

Good Morning! Unity Church, like its neighbors does not have power. No heat, No water, No toilets, etc. We are cancelling service this morning. Sorry for the inconvenience. Lebanon does have power and is worshipping this morning.
