Pope Leo XIV is inviting Catholics around the world to unite in praying the Rosary for peace on Saturday, May 30.

The Holy Father will pray live from the Lourdes Grotto in the Vatican Gardens at 1 p.m. ET, joining Marian shrines and Catholics across the globe in prayer for peace.

The faithful of the Diocese of Erie are encouraged to participate in this worldwide moment of faith and unity and entrust the world to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Today we give thanks as Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish celebrates TWO YEARS of our Walking With Moms in Need ministry serving mothers and families throughout Mercer County.
Since May 25, 2024, our ministry has provided assistance to families more than 187 times through our Caring Closet outreach, offering diapers, wipes, clothing, toys, baby equipment, emotional support, referrals, and other essential resources to those in need.
This ministry would not be possible without the incredible generosity of our parishioners, volunteers, donors, and community supporters. Your kindness and compassion continue to make a real difference in the lives of local families.
We are also grateful for the growing number of organizations throughout Mercer County working to support mothers and families, including Prince of Peace Center and their newly launched Walking With Moms in Need ministry. Together, we continue striving to ensure that no mother walks alone.
Thank you for helping us live out the Gospel by supporting mothers, children, and families with dignity, compassion, and love.
