Encounter Church is a gospel-centered church that exists to make disciples who love Jesus, live like Jesus, and lead others to Jesus.

Encounter Church started in Bellevue in 2011 formerly known as All Nations Community Church at Newport High School to help people on the Eastside and Seattle know Jesus. In 2022, we rebranded under new mission, vision and leadership as Encounter Church. We are committed to be gospel-centered in making disciples who love Jesus, live like Jesus and lead others to Jesus. We are passionate about being

involved in our community as we reach the most marginalized and in need. God's charge to us is clear, "administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another".

We wrapped up an incredible summer with learning, worship, laughter, and fun.

Our VBS community also showed incredible generosity by collecting nearly 90 items for our World Relief Backpack Drive!❤️

We’re so grateful for all the kids, families, and volunteers who made this week so special. What a beautiful way to learn, serve, and grow together!

SOAP FOR HOPE

Sometimes something as simple as a face wipe can carry an important message: help is available.
During our second Soap for Hope event, volunteers from Encounter delivered 1,000 face wipes to 10 Seattle-area hotels, each labeled with the National Human Trafficking Hotline number. Our hope and prayer is that these resources reached people experiencing trafficking and helped create a pathway toward freedom and a new life.

Throughout June, our community also provided extra meals to REST, helping meet increased needs as more people reached out for support during the FIFA World Cup.

Thank you to everyone who gave, prepared meals, placed stickers, delivered supplies, and helped make this possible. Together, we continue to stand with those experiencing exploitation and support the organizations working every day toward freedom and restoration.

There are seasons when following Jesus feels full of clarity, and seasons when it feels like looking into a mirror dimly lit.

Hosea reminds us that knowing God is something we keep pressing into. And when we do, we can trust that God will meet us.

As sure as the dawn.
Like the coming of spring rain.

Every Sunday, we gather for something bigger than ourselves.

In a world that often pulls us apart, the Church reminds us that we belong—to God and to one another.

Whether you've been walking with Jesus for years or you're simply curious about faith, there's a place for you here. Come as you are. Bring your questions, your joys, your burdens, and your hopes. Community Sunday is back this Sunday May 17th at 10:00am! One church, one service.

Community Sunday is our invitation to bring our church together in the same space at the same time. Instead of our usual two services, we’ll share a meal and meaningful fellowship—following the early church’s example of breaking bread—so we can slow down and connect across generations and backgrounds.
