I was walking down the street the other day and passed a small storefront that said, "The God Store". Out of curiosity, I went in. There were pictures of bushel-baskets of love, big burlap bags of faith, large mason jars of patience, boxes of hope... The woman behind the small counter asked, "What would you like to purchase?" I asked, "How much are they?" "Everything here is free." So, I told her what all I wanted and she reached under the counter and handed me a small packet. "What is this?" I asked. She said, "We only sell seeds here. It's up to you to plant them and make them grow."

This is the perfect season for planting. May you all have a Holy and Merry Christmas!

We would like to thank the City of Mercedes for allowing the First United Methodist Church to host the “City of Mercedes Easter Egg Hunt.” It was a joy to see the many children and families enjoying the activities. Happy Easter!! ✝️🐣🐇
