Your Voice Matters More Than You Think

You may think you’re just singing.

But the person next to you might be fighting to believe God is faithful.
They might be grieving.
They might be carrying shame.
They might feel completely alone.

And then they hear you confess the same hope they’re struggling to hold onto.

Your voice doesn’t have to be impressive to be valuable.

Sometimes the ministry someone needs on Sunday comes from the person standing right beside them.

So show up. And sing.

Church Family!

One of the things we’ve been talking about in Becoming Us is that church is more than showing up together on Sunday. We’re called to actually share life together.

That’s why we have our 2:42 Groups.

Acts 2:42 says, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.”

These groups are a chance to get to know people, pray together, study Scripture, and do life together outside of Sunday morning.

So this is the week to look at your schedule and sign up! Maybe one group works for you. Maybe you can jump into a couple. You can even join all of them if you'd like!

Open up the Church Center app, check out what’s available, and find a place to plug in this fall.

We need one another. Let’s make room for community.

What Comes Out When Life Gets Hard?

Want to know what’s filling you?

Pay attention to what comes out when you’re tired, frustrated, stressed, or hurt.

For me, that’s often when I realize just how much I need grace.

The answer isn’t simply, “Try harder.”

It’s going back to Jesus and receiving again what only he can give.

Because what fills us eventually overflows from us.

Grace received becomes grace given.
