Family Game Night at The Salvation Army Merced was a blast! From dinner and laughter to friendly competition and community connection, it was such a fun night bringing families, friends, and neighbors together under one roof. For more than 16 years, Bill and Betty have faithfully volunteered with The Salvation Army Merced, serving neighbors in need with compassion and consistency. ❤️

After their church stopped offering volunteer opportunities, they found a new home for service here and have continued making a difference ever since.

It’s Day 5 of National Salvation Army Week, and we’re ending the week by opening our doors to the community! ❤️

Join The Salvation Army tonight from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at 1440 W. 12th Street in Merced for a free community dinner. Take your meal to go or stay and eat with us while learning more about the programs, services, and ways to get involved right here in Merced.

Every Thursday, Love In the Name of Christ of Greater Merced comes to The Salvation Army Merced campus at 1440 W. 12th Street to provide warm showers, clean clothes, meals, haircuts, and a welcoming place to rest and connect.

During National Salvation Army Week and every week beyond, we’re grateful to partner with organizations that help meet real needs in our community with dignity and compassion.
