MISSION
To serve Jesus as we Motivate, Equip and Involve all segments of the congregation at H O P E CENTER in local, national and global outreach.

VISION
To see the members of H O P E CENTER be so Passionate about God’s heart for the lost that they have become Proficient in ministry skills and are Pro-actively involved in strategic outreach ministries locally, nationally and globally.

Our church is a Bible centered, Spirit-led, Holy Ghost filled church and congregation. Our ministries are centered on creating disciples in order for their lifestyle to be reflective of Jesus Christ. This is why our mission is important. Our focus is not about building membership but rather it is truly focused on making disciples (or learners). We are called by God to develop disciples so they will go out to teach and lead others into establishing a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our purpose as followers of Jesus Christ is to create disciples who will in return disciple the congregation and the community. We are called by God to train others to go out and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

We believe that marriage is God's creation, and is only between one man and one woman. As servants of Christ we will not perform marriages that are other than between one man and one woman, for to do so would be to rebel against our Lord Jesus Christ.

We place emphasis on practicing the spiritual disciplines of worship, praise, prayer, fasting, studying, witnessing, and serving. We firmly believe that our ministries should not be confined inside the church building, but we must reach out to the community. As a result, our mission is to minister to God’s people in the community which means you will see us evangelizing, feeding the hungry and homeless at shelters, spreading God’s Word in the correctional institutions, preaching the Gospel in nursing homes and assisted living facilities and speaking out against injustices happening in our community and throughout the world.

At H O P E Center (House Of Prayer Evangelistic Center), we love Jesus Christ and we place Him at the center of our lives. This is why we place emphasis on our motto, “It is not just a name, but it is a Christ Centered Lifestyle.” Everything we do at H O P E Center is centered on Jesus Christ. We are not interested in promoting our name, but we have been commissioned by God to preach, teach, baptize, and make disciples.

Finally, please understand that HOPE CENTER IS NOT A CONGREGATION FOR PERFECT PEOPLE. IT IS A CHURCH FOR IMPERFECT PEOPLE WHO WILL COME IN CONTACT WITH A PERFECT GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. OUR CHURCH IS A PLACE FOR THE WOUNDED TO GET HEALED, THE BROKEN TO BE REPAIRED AND THE FALLEN TO BE RESTORED!
WE ARE H O P E CENTER! IT IS NOT JUST A NAME BUT IT IS A CHRIST CENTERED LIFE STYLE.

This is good to know: It's ridiculous to have over 540 friends and only 25 are allowed to see my post.
It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years.
Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed.
Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts. Therefore,
Hold your finger down anywhere in this post and "copy" will pop up. Click "copy". Then go your page, start a new post and put your finger anywhere in the blank field. "Paste" will pop up and click paste.
This will bypass the system.

Opting Out!
I do not give permission for Facebook to charge $4.99 a month to my account, also; all my pictures are the property House of Prayer Evangelistic Center  and NOT Facebooks!!!

🔵 It's official. Signed at 10:33. It's even passed on TV. Facebook will start charging this summer. If you copy this to your wall, your icon will turn blue and your Facebook will be free for you. Please pass this message; if not, your icon will be deleted.

We absolutely DO NOT give permission to Facebook to charge $4.99 a month to my account, also; all my pictures are property of myself and not Facebook!
Channel 13 News is reporting that Facebook will be charging all users starting Monday. You can do an "opt-out" by posting ”I do not give permission to Facebook to charge $4.99 a month to my account, also; all of my pictures on Facebook are the property of myself and not Facebook!”
