The MomCo at Crossroads

The MomCo at Crossroads Moms walking beside moms in their beautiful, chaotic, messy and miraculous journey of motherhood. MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers.

If that's you, we know you've got your hands full! We know how you feel and we're here to help! MOMSnext is an extension of MOPS for moms who have school-aged children. Come join us every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month (Sept.-May) from 9:00a-11:00a at Crossroads Presbyterian Church! Crossroads MOPS is a place to find friendship, community, and support for you as a woman and as a mother. MOPPETS:

FREE child care from birth to age 5 provided

The MOPS program is built on several foundational principles:

Community: MOPS provides an open, caring, and accepting atmosphere where women can come together to share this important season of life. Mentoring: Mature women listen, encourage, and offer information and perspectives gained through experience. Practical Instruction: Teaching focuses on areas of common interest, offering inspiration and information that is relevant to the life of a mother. Leadership Development: MOPS groups are organized and run by mothers of preschoolers, as well as for mothers of preschoolers. Women who are involved in MOPS gain confidence in their leadership skills through the training and experience they receive from MOPS. Discussion: The intimate and accepting atmosphere of a small group offers moms a chance to share their successes, failures, questions, and concerns. It is during these times that a mom realizes that she is not alone, and lifelong friendships are formed. Teaching: Topics presented at MOPS meetings celebrate motherhood and meet a mom's unique needs during this season of life. Creative Activities: Through creative projects and presentations, women are encouraged to experience the sense of accomplishment that comes with trying and finishing new things. MOPS Kids: During MOPS meetings, children are cared for in a program called MOPS Kids, where they experience love in a preschool-like setting (mops.org). Registration happening now!

WOW. What an amazing last meetup! The MomCo Makers Market was a success 🤍

So many talented moms, homemade goodies, creative finds, and sweet connections all in one room. Thanks to everyone who brought something, supported each other, and made our first market so special.

Now we want to see what everyone went home with.

Tomorrow is our first-ever MomCo Makers Market! ✨

Everyone’s been busy prepping homemade goodies, crafts, treats, and creative finds to exchange with other mamas. We can’t wait to see all the talent, creativity, and heart this community brings.

Who’s excited to shop, swap, and support each other?! 💛

A big thank you to Sam from Evolv for talking all things pelvic floor (the convo we didn’t know we needed but definitely did 🙌)

We learned so much and walked away feeling empowered—not to just accept what we think is “normal,” but to actually take care of ourselves as mamas 💛

There were lots of laughs, great questions, and a whole lot of “wait… that’s not normal?!” moments 😅

So grateful for real conversations like this and a space where we can learn, grow, and support each other ✨

We had the best time welcoming Kate from Homegrown to chat all things plants 🌿

Between learning how to actually keep them alive (we’re all just trying our best 😅) and soaking up her tips, the room was full of life in the best way. You could literally feel the difference with all the plants she brought in ✨

And the best part? Everyone went home with a new houseplant to care for🪴💚

🍪 Galentine’s Cookie Decorating Night

Somehow frosting cookies with other moms is just what we needed 💗

Our Galentine’s cookie decorating night was equal parts creativity, sugar, and laughter. Between the sprinkles and icing disasters, we shared stories and just enjoyed a night out together.

It’s amazing what a table full of cookies and a room full of moms can do for the soul.
Already looking forward to the next one. 💕

He is risen! ✝️🌅

Wishing all our MomCo friends a joyful Easter full of hope, renewal, and new beginnings. May this season remind us, and our kids, of the power of love, faith, and fresh starts. 💛🐣🌷

🤍 Behind the Scenes of MomCo

Behind every MomCo gathering is a group of moms sitting around a table asking:
“What would help moms most right now?”

Our steering meetings are where we brainstorm ideas, plan activities, and bring together the pieces that help our group feel welcoming, supportive, and fun.

And honestly, it’s pretty amazing to see how many thoughtful ideas come from moms who just want to support other moms.

Mom's gathering outside of our meetups foster connections and we're grateful for this community!

We gathered around the bonfire with snacks, cozy blankets, and lots of conversation. No schedules, no rushing — just moms connecting, laughing, and enjoying a beautiful night together.

Sometimes you just need a bonfire, some snacks, and good company.

Who knew solving puzzles on paper could be this intense? 😆
Our escape room meetup had moms teaming up to crack clues, solve puzzles, and work through some pretty tricky challenges.

It was a great reminder of how resourceful and resilient moms can be—thinking creatively, trying different approaches, and not giving up when something didn’t make sense right away. There were definitely a few “aha!” moments… and a few “wait, what does this even mean?” moments too.

And honestly, it’s the same mindset we want to pass on to our kids—sticking with something when it’s hard, trying again, and figuring things out along the way.

Working through the puzzles together made it even more fun and showed how much we can accomplish when we collaborate and keep going.
