St. Boniface Episcopal Church, Mequon, WI Outreach Committee is sponsoring a community food drive to collect food, paper products and hygiene items for the benefit of The Food Pantry, Inc. on Saturday June 13th from 10am to NOON. The need is great. Please come and donate items if you are able. We would appreciate it! If you are not able to donate, please share the information. Every little bit helps.

🎶Another great Classical guitar recital coming up this Sunday at 1 pm! Learn more about our artist below and plan to join us; all recitals are free and open to the public!

Eliza Balmuth (b. 1999) is a classical guitarist from Fort Worth, Texas. She has studied with Mitch Weverka, Matteo Mela, Chad Ibison, Bryan Burns, Kevin Loh, and René Izquierdo.

Eliza performs regularly and has attended festivals in the United States and abroad, including MusicAlp, Cleveland International Classical Guitar Festival, Camino Guitar, Festival de Guitare International de Paris, Domaine Forget, Long Island Guitar Festival, and The Volterra Project. A recipient of a 2026 Early Music America Workshop Scholarship, Eliza has won prizes in national and international youth guitar competitions including the Columbus State Guitar Symposium, Texas Guitar Festival, East Carolina University Summer Guitar Festival, and Long Island Guitar Festival.

She completed a B.M. in Musicology and a B.A. in Comparative Literature through Oberlin College and Conservatory’s Double Degree Program and is currently pursuing an M.M. in Classical Guitar Performance and Music History & Literature at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. When not practicing guitar, she enjoys exploring nature, learning languages, and experimenting in the kitchen.
