The annual church picnic is coming up!
Next Sunday, June 25, our regular 8:30 am service will be cancelled so our members can attend the outdoor service at St. John's at 10 am. The service will be followed by the annual church picnic. All are invited! ☀️✝

He is Risen!

“While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’”

Our Savior endured our sinful darkness on Good Friday and willingly gave up his life for our sins. Now, he is risen! Everything from his humble birth to his perfect life to his humiliating death have satisfied God’s justice. All our spiritual enemies have been conquered, even death. It holds no mastery over us. Death now ends in eternal life!

🔹Wednesday, March 15 - Midweek Lenten devotion led by Dr. Ken Cherney. Join us for worship at St. John’s at 6:30 pm.
🔹Sunday, March 19 - Sunday morning worship at 8:30 am.
🔹Monday, March 20 - Pastor Tiefel will present a new Bible class entitled “How Did We Get Our Bibles?” The class will follow the journey of the original manuscripts of God’s holy book to our present day and use. Class is at 12:45 pm.

Mark your calendars! Upcoming events at Trinity:
🔹Bible Classes began again on February 6th. They occur every Monday at 12:45 PM in the East Room. This course focuses on the life and times of the Old Testament prophet Daniel.
🔹Ash Wednesday is almost here. The service will be on February 22nd at 6:30 PM at Trinity.
🔹Beginning March 1st, midweek Lenten services will be held at St. John's on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. Professors from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary will conduct these services.

Don’t Let Worry Wear You Down

“What? Me Worry?” It sounds a little like bragging. People mean to assure us that they deal with tasks and troubles without cares and concerns. Truth is, they’re probably not being completely honest. Everyone worries. Some people worry a lot; we call them worrywarts. Some people worry a little; we call them cautious. In the Gospel for tomorrow, Jesus helps us deal with worry. He promises that with the loving plan of God we can put our worries away.
