This weekend at St. Bede's Episcopal Church, located at 2650 Sand Hill Road, in Menlo Park, we celebrate the fourth (and last) Sunday in Advent at 9:30 a.m., with a Rite II Holy Eucharist service. At 4:00 p.m. we will have a Rite II Holy Eucharist with Children's Pageant and at 7:00 p.m. we continue the magical tradition of Lessons and Carols in our Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols service, which will have some of the most beautiful music traditionally played in that service! On Monday, Christmas Day we again celebrate a Rite II Holy Eucharist at 9:30 a.m. Please join us for an unforgettable Christmas weekend of worship!

As is our custom at family-friendly services, the liturgy and sermon will be adapted for all God's children. This week, our Gospel reading is the baptism of Jesus—the beginning of his public ministry.

We are pleased to announce that the Reverend Daniel Spors has accepted the Vestry’s call to serve as the next Rector of St. Bede’s. He will join us officially on February 1. We look forward to Dan’s arrival and to all the good that the future holds for our faith community.
